Laramie High School Student Wins Full Ride Scholarship
Laramie High School senior Rhylan Huss has been awarded the STARR Charitable Foundation Scholarship by Michigan State University. The scholarship pays for regular costs such as tuition, student fees, books, room and board, and incidental expenses for up to 8 semesters.
The STARR Charitable Foundation Scholarship was established by an anonymous donor in 1998 to provide unique educational opportunities for students in Wyoming and in the upper peninsula of Michigan. To qualify for the scholarship, students must have a 3.0 GPA and be able to demonstrate academic interest, distinguished personal character, and leadership ability.
Other Wyoming winners of the STARR Charitable Foundation Scholarship have come from places such as Casper, Cheyenne, Jackson Hole, Lander, Riverton, Powell, and Worland. A complete list of past winners can be found here.
