Laramie Man Charged with Aggravated Assault and Strangulation

The Laramie police department reports that David E. Mahon, a 32-year-old Laramie resident, has been charged with aggravated assault and strangulation of a household member.

On August 12, 2019, at approximately 6:40 PM Laramie Police Officers responded to the 2100 Block of North 10th street for the report of a physical domestic disturbance.

As a result of the investigation, Mahon was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery and strangulation of a household member. Bond has not yet been set in this matter and Mahon remains incarcerated at the Albany County Detention Center.

Aggravated assault and battery, and strangulation of a household member are both felonies punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years each.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a Court of law.
