Well, we already knew that, but now it's in list format for all of the internet to see! Livability recently released their top 100 places to live for 2019, and the Gem City made the list. The website knows towns, with its mission statement including summarizing the quality of life in small and mid-sized cities, with information about their schools,  neighborhoods, local restaurants and culture. They include demographic information and give you the best idea of what it's like to live in the town they're describing.

Taking the number one spot was Boise, ID, and a few more of our neighbors took top spots as well, with Billings, MT getting 24th, Aurora, CO nabbing 63rd place, and Lincoln, NE getting the 9th spot on the list.

For Laramie, they named it the 22nd best place to live in the U.S.

"Offering peace, quiet and wide open spaces, Laramie is a dream come true for those lucky enough to live here," Livability says, praising Laramie for its economics, education, and of course, the famous "poker runs."

The website also listed some of the best things about the town, including the best brewery (Coal Creek Tap,) favorite weekend activity, and the best After-Work meet-up spot: Sweet Melissa's Cafe and Front Street Tavern.

Laramie is, indeed, a fabulous place to live! Now those looking for a new place to call home will likely see the list that proclaims it for all to hear.
