The teasing is over. Luke Combs officially has a new album coming.

The "Beer Never Broke My Heart" didn't share many details about the follow-up to the recording-breaking This One's for You album other than to say it's going to drop on Nov. 8.

The news comes as Combs holds the top spot on both Mediabase and Billboard country airplay charts. Even though the hit was a part of his recently released The Prequel EP, it will presumably be on the full-length album, as well.

Combs' next album is arguably the most anticipated of 2019. This One's for You was released in 2017 and has held the top spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart for 44 weeks, breaking a record for male artists set by Randy Travis in 1987. Five songs from that album and a subsequent deluxe version hit No. 1 on airplay charts, and along the way the North Carolina singer has shared new songs during concerts or on social media.

Neither a complete track listing or the new album's title have been revealed. This news comes after Combs had been teasing some sort of announcement on social media for a week. Most guessed he'd share news of the long-awaited sophomore album. In addition to his successful recording and touring career, Combs has gotten engaged and joined the Grand Ole Opry in the last year.

The Nov. 8 release date comes five days before the 2019 CMA Awards on ABC, where it's likely Combs will either be nominated or perform.
