Wyoming Football Dons Full Pads for First Time in Fall Camp
The Wyoming Cowboy football team has completed five of their 20 practices for Fall Camp on the UW Campus.
Wednesday in Laramie, head coach Craig Bohl put the Pokes through their first practice in full pads after the NCAA required acclimatization period to begin camp.
Bohl discussed the importance of fully-padded practices to prepare them for a game that's just 24 days away. Redshirt freshman quarterback Sean Chambers feels their making progress, but have lots to "clean up." He's got continue his forward progress at the QB position. Senior defensive end Josiah Hall said it was definitely something they'd been looking forward to it. Hall also said he needs to fill his leadership role. There's more in the latest fall camp update.
The Cowboys open the 2019 season at home versus the Missouri Tigers at 5:30 p.m. in War Memorial Stadium.
