Massive Car Seat Recall Issued For Safety Concerns
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a recall on over 25,000 car seats manufactured by Graco.
Accroding to the NHTSA, the webbing of the Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Child Seat can fail, which can lead to lead to injury, as the child would not be restrained properly.
Graco posted this message to their website:
Over the past 60 years, safety has been and will continue to be our priority at Graco. As part of Graco’s continuous process of reviewing the quality of its products, Graco is recalling the harness restraints on select My Ride 65 convertible car seats that were manufactured during the summer of 2014 and sold in the U.S.
Graco also stated that so far, there have been zero injuries reported on the My Ride 65 model units that are being recalled.
