Powell Pranksters Plant Pot Outside Police Station
A Powell, Wyo. Parks and Recreation employee recently made an interesting discovery; marijuana growing in city planters across the street from the police station.
The employee was watering the planters last week when he noticed a suspicious weed in the flowers. A subsequent search revealed two more pot plants growing in nearby planters.
“As soon as I heard that I went out and checked all the plants in front of the PD to make sure there weren’t any [marijuana plants] in any of ours,” Powell Police Chief Roy Eckerdt told the Powell Tribune. "My guess is that it's somebody’s sense of humor."
Powell employees will be keeping a close eye on city planters through the summer and have been given to paper bags to collect any suspicious weeds they may see.
