It was another action packed year for law enforcement officials and potheads in Wyoming. Here's a look back at the most entertaining weed busts of 2017.

In May, Casper Police arrested a Colorado man who reported that someone had stolen his stash. Eric Jarrin was staying a Motel 6 when he complained to the front desk that his marijuana was missing. After waiting for police to arrive, he showed them his pipe and some concentrated cannabis "dabs".

In August, several agencies warned tourists not to bring weed to Wyoming during the eclipse. Two visitors from New Jersey failed to heed that warning and were jailed after mailing marijuana, LSD and cocaine to their hotel.

It's a well known fact that stoners love video games. Sadly, that hobby will haunt a Casper man who was caught with pot after stealing a Pac-Man arcade game from a local campground.

In January, a Casper teenager was busted after his car got stuck in the Platte River. The 19-year-old was "spinning cookies" when his vehicle fell though the ice. When the cops arrived, they found a bag of marijuana in his coat pocket.

On the day before 4/20, the Wyoming Highway Patrol discovered 342 pounds of pot during a random traffic stop near Sundance. Cher Yang now faces up to 20 years in prison. Sadly, a man named Cher Yang probably won't fare well in the state pen.

Which brings us to "Gangster Grandpa". In September, 81-year-old Henry Sentner was charged with felony marijuana possession after the WHP found 35 pounds of weed in his car. Unfortunately, it wasn't Sentner's first run-in with the law. In the 70s, he served time for murdering the nephew of reputed mob boss Carlo Gambino. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
