Prostate Cancer Screening Available
September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and men age 40 and older can take advantage of a local screening Saturday.
From 8 a.m. until noon at the Meredith and Jeannie Ray Cancer Center, screenings will be available. Walk-ups are welcome, but if you can call ahead to schedule a time, they would appreciate it. You can call 742-7586 to schedule your appointment between 8 a.m. and noon Saturday.
There were over 100 participants last year, and they’re hoping to see more this year.
Men can survive prostate cancer. Early detection is the key.
