
Slick, Snowy Roads Saturday In SE Wyoming, Nebraska Panhandle
Southern States First To Feel Effects Of Massive Winter Storm
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning travelers to expect slick, snow-covered roads in much of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle on Saturday and into Sunday.
The agency posted this statement on its website:
''Periods of moderate to heavy snowfall expected to move across the region today with updated winter weather advisories now including the Elk Mountain/Arlington area in Wyoming and Dawes and Box Butte Counties in the Nebraska Panhandle. Prepare for areas of slick to snow-covered roadways and limited visibility in the heavier snow bands.''
