Clients of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center pumped more than $13 million of financial capital into Wyoming's economy in 2015.

State Director of the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wyoming Jill Kline says the capital was contributed in the forms of Small Business Administration loans, conventional loans, alternative financing and personal investment commenced following consultation with the Center's counselors.

According to its annual report, the Center assisted 2,152 clients with issues such as government contracting and business valuation.  Those clients reported 1,541 jobs created or retained.

In addition to putting more than $213 million into Wyoming's economy, the Center's clients have reported the creation or retention of more than 11,466 jobs and service of more than 42,358 clients since 1995.

The Small Business Development Center is a partnership of the Small Business Alliance, the Wyoming Business Council and the University of Wyoming.  The Center provides educational programs, resources and management assistance to foster economic growth by guiding businesses to success.
