Snowy Range Academy Hosting ‘Run For Rowan’ 5K Saturday

Rowan Shea is a Laramie sixth-grader who was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer, this summer. He is currently going through treatment.

To help Rowan and his family with expenses, Snowy Range Academy will be hosting a 5K running/walking race on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

The race will start at Snowy Range Academy (map) on November 23 at 9:30 AM. Organizers ask that participants arrive at 9:00 AM for check-in and to park in SRA’s parking lot.

The racecourse will go through the prairie north of Snowy Range Academy.

Participants should bring their own water and water bottles and dress warmly. There will be awards for first place male and female runners in age categories. There will also be awards for the overall male and female winners.
