Downtown Laramie

It's the perfect season for that after all.

Plus, there is still time for members of the community to be a part of the parade

This event will happen on October 15.

The City of Laramie has recently opened "Hollyhock Commons" for people to use for eating and relaxing while in the Downtown area.

While social distancing is an important step in weathering this storm together, let's make sure that those of us in the community that are worried about the economic impact know that we have their back. We love our local businesses.

The Holliday Fire, as it was later called, began in the W. B. Holliday building on Second and Custer.

The business that would one day take the place of Madam Opal's began as a dream of two coworkers sneaking off after work to have their own wine club. "It was very exclusive," said Lesley Young, co-owner of Cask 307. "Just the two of us sneaking ing to the back room of what was then Snowy Range Dodge when we were done with work. We'd always talk about opening a wine bar."

Melissa Condon sits in her well-decorated shop right next door to Sweets Bakery, the door open and her children playing in the shop and on the sidewalk just outside.

Because of last week's weather, a few downtown businesses are extending their specials to December 7th for a Small Business Saturday Do-Over.
