The Good, the Bad and the Nasty: These Country Stars Had Wild Pre-Fame Jobs!
Most of country's biggest stars haven't always lived a glamorous life in the limelight. Before they were famous, many of them had to work jobs that were often difficult, demanding and sometimes downright dirty. Even Reba McEntire did something rather, um, disgusting.
Kelly Clarkson was a saleswoman before she became the original American Idol, and we must say, we're pretty pleased with her career transition. Blake Shelton spent time with cassette tapes (remember those?!) before he was a country-singing coach on The Voice. Faith Hill probably sweat a lot more in her pre-fame job, and Dierks Bentley is likely thanking his lucky stars that his career transitioned the way it did ... because being onstage is much cleaner than what he used to do.
Kix Brooks, Jason Aldean, Gretchen Wilson, Toby Keith and Lee Brice also had a few interesting pre-fame jobs (although we doubt you'll be surprised by what Toby did!). Also included are Carrie Underwood, Craig Campbell, Colt Ford, Rodney Atkins and even Garth Brooks!
