On April 14, 2018, Cheyenne Wyoming VFW Post 4343 honored their retiring Chaplin, for his service in Vietnam, including being seriously wounded in combat, as well as his 50 years of service to VFW Post 4343.

During those 50 years Jerry Pellock served in every position that the post had to offer and was instrumental in making it the most decorated post in Wyoming. Age and health problems have cause him to finally step aside after all these years.

During the dinner held in Mr. Pellock's honor those attending were invited to view a display of photographs and plaques taken by three post members during a recent trip to Europe.

The photos and names are of soldiers form Wyoming who gave their lives and were then burred over there. The members of VFW post 4343 want to make sure that the people of Wyoming never forget who they where and the reasons they gave all they had.

This video provides the story of Mr. Pellock's years of service to our country and to his VFW post. It also provides the story of the men under those grave markers in Europe. Thanks to Cheyenne Wyoming's VFW 4343 for bringing their stories back to us.
