Weekend Movie Forecast 6/14 [Trailers]

The summer is heating up more, and so is the movie forecast.

After two slow weeks, the latest Superman movie, Man of Steel, opens this week.  Early reviews indicate it rates a "C+."

Another new movie this week is called This is the End.  Hollywood actors try to deal with the Apocalypse in this horror comedy.  It is getting good reviews but I thought it was like being stuck in a nightmare of a party.  It rates a "C."

There are two free movies in town this weekend.  One is the popular 1984 hit Ghostbusters starring Bill Murray.  It shows at 7 pm, Saturday, at the Albany County Library.

Another free movie at the library will be shown at 7 pm Sunday night.  The documentary film, The Other Dream Team is about the 1992 Lithuanian Olypmic Basketball Team.  Sponsored by the Grateful Dead, this talented team wore tie-dyed uniforms.  This is part of a Library Free Summer Film Series.

The best holdovers from last week both rate a "B": Fast and Furious 6 and Now You See Me.
