The Major League Baseball playoffs begin Tuesday with the American League Wild Card game featuring the New York Yankees and Houston Astros. Whomever wins Tuesday plays the Kansas City Royals.
On Wednesday, the National League Wild Card game features the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates. The winner of that moves on to play the St. Louis Cardinals. Other series that begin this week include the Mets and Dodgers, and the Blue Jays and Rangers.
