Wyoming Department of Transportation reports that I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne, WYO 210, and US 287 have reopened.

I-80 Closed over the Summit between Cheyenne and Laramie due to snow. A Winter Storm Warning continues for the area until 9:00 AM Tuesday.


 

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the I-80 Summit between Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming.

Travel could become very difficult Mondy night into Tuesday. Heavy snow and strong winds are expected. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches with storm total snowfall of 8 to 10 inches.

  to 45 mph.

* WHERE...Interstate 80 summit between Cheyenne and
  Laramie...including Buford and Vedauwoo.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning commute. Gusty winds could
  bring down tree branches.
