Wyoming Actor Lands Dream Role in New Star Wars Film
The town of Worland, Wyoming, has gone to the dark side. Worland native and University of Wyoming alum K. Harrison Sweeney announced he was recently cast to voice the part of "Jabba the Hutt" in an upcoming Star Wars movie.
Sweeney has appeared in several movies during his career, including Starship Troopers, The Laramie Project, A Thousand Words, 15 North, and In a Valley of Violence.
His big break came in 2010, when he voiced the role of "Mr. Irish" for the critically acclaimed video game Red Dead Redemption.

Voicing the iconic "Jabba the Hutt" character is a dream come true for the lifelong Star Wars fan, whose Instagram handle is "jedighostbuster".
Although he did not announce specifically which Star Wars film he will voice, we do know production for Star Wars: Episode VIII is underway. The film is scheduled for release on May 26. 2017.
