Wyoming residents love the wondrous beauty which we call home. We enjoy plenty of fun activities year round, both indoor and out. Maybe that's why getting the snub on personal-finance website WalletHub seems unthinkable!

Out of the 150 cities that made the list, not a single one came from Wyoming! Considering the popularity of places like Jackson Hole (which actually topped Forbes list for the best ski resort in America last December), it's shocking we didn't even get an honorable mention.

According to WalletHub, these are the top 10:

  1. Las Vegas, NV
  2. Orlando, FL
  3. Miami, FL
  4. New Orleans, LA
  5. Salt Lake City, UT
  6. Cincinnati, OH
  7. Fort Lauderdale, FL
  8. St. Louis, MO
  9. Atlanta, GA
  10. Scottsdale, AZ

One major factor that pretty much took us out of the running immediately was our population. WalletHub only compared the 150 largest U.S. cities based on 51 key metrics. These ranged anywhere from “number of fitness centers per capita” to “movie costs” to “average open hours of breweries.”

Good thing we Wyomingites don't need a study to tell us our state is pretty awesome just the way it is.
