Not only is it road construction season in Laramie, it’s also time to get out and start on those home improvement projects that have been lingering all winter. Whether it’s spring cleaning, cleaning up the yard or painting the house, there always seems to be a never ending list of things to do
As we mentioned early last week, there was a solar eclipse set to take place last night (May 20th). If you missed it and didn’t get a good look, here are some pictures of what the eclipse looked like from Laramie. What you are seeing is a phenomena created when the Earth, the Moon and t
After last winter’s above average snowfall and subsequent flooding, this year’s run-off levels can’t even begin to compare. With the abundance of water provided by snow-pack these past few years, which has brought Wyoming out of nearly a decade of drought, water shortages have certainly not been a hot issue.
The Encampment-Riverside Lions Club is making their final preparations for the 2012 Woodchopper’s Jamboree and Rodeo that takes place in a little less than a month. While Laramie does have a few nice places to take your kids swimming, with the Recreation Center hands down being the best option in town, there is not a major water park in the immediate area.
