Arrest Warrant Issued for Former Laramie Therapist Accused of Sexual Assault
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant for the arrest of a former Laramie therapist who violated the terms of his bond.
The Sheriff's Office said Scott A. Addison, 49, failed to comply the conditions of his bond, but was unable to give further details.
Addison is charged with 25 felonies, one for first degree sexual assault. He was arrested Feb. 22 as a result of an investigation that began in October 2016.
The Albany County Clerk of District Court’s Office said a motion to revoke bond and a petition for an arrest warrant were both filed yesterday. The deputy said no bond revocation hearing has been scheduled yet.
Addison’s bond was set at $100,000. His jury trial is scheduled to begin Monday, Dec. 11.
Addison faces up to 275 years in prison and $200,000 in fines if convicted on all counts.
