Casper, Rock Springs, Laramie Bank Robberies Tentatively Linked

The robbery of a bank in Casper, and subsequent arrest of two suspects, is tentatively being linked to robberies in both Laramie and Rock Springs, according to multiple law enforcement agencies.

A press release from the Rock Springs Police Department has identified the suspects in three Wyoming robberies as 34-year-old Mindy Nicholl Lawrence (aka Mindy Nicholl Brafford) and 38-year-old James Pearson Thain, both of Utah.

According to the RSPD, Thain and Lawrence were arrested by Casper police following a bank robbery at a Bank of the West Location in Casper.

A subsequent press release from the Laramie Police Department confirms that Thain and Lawrence are also suspected in the robbery of a US Bank Branch in Laramie, earlier this week.

Casper Police are say that the investigation in to Lawrence and Thain has been turned over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
