IMH Griller’s Cup This Weekend
Get your BBQ on Saturday, July 20th at the Ivinson Memorial Hospital parking lot.
The sixth annual IMH Foundation Griller’s Cup BBQ Cook Off will hand out awards for Best BBQ, Best Dessert, and Best Side Dish. Official KCBS judges will decide the five placing awards for beef, brisket, pork, chicken, and sauce.
Grilling takes place in the Ivinson Memorial Hospital parking lot near 30th and Willett from 1 pm to 3 pm.
The event is free to enter, however if you’d like to sample the BBQ you’ll need BBQ bucks. BBQ bucks are sold in $10 increments. All proceeds benefit the Sandy Joy Healthcare Education Scholarship.
Activities for kids include two inflatable bounce houses, face painting, temporary tattoos, sidewalk art, and multiple bubble machines.
Y95’s Jerrad Anderson will be broadcasting from noon to 2 pm on location.
