Laramie-based songwriter Will Flagg wrote and composed a song titled 'Wyoming Snow,' which is a dedication to his family who migrated from New Mexico to the Equality State and ultimately stayed because the weather was "too bad to leave."

YouTube channel "Following The Manito Trail" posted the performance and interview with Will.

He explains, "The way our story is told, basically, snow kept us here. The bad weather kept the family in Wyoming." The Riverton High School graduate says "Last spring, my grandmother was having some heart problems. She wasn't doing too great. And I just felt compelled to (write this song.) Being told stories is a big part of this family and she loves telling stories and I love listening to them, and I guess writing that song was my way of telling her own story back to her."
