New Retail Coming to Laramie

While social distancing is an important step in weathering this storm together, let's make sure that those of us in the community that are worried about the economic impact know that we have their back. We love our local businesses.

I keep thinking to myself every time I drive over the Harney Street Bridge that the new development of that roadway would lend itself greatly to expanding the offerings that the Gem City has to offer to its citizens.

The business that would one day take the place of Madam Opal's began as a dream of two coworkers sneaking off after work to have their own wine club. "It was very exclusive," said Lesley Young, co-owner of Cask 307. "Just the two of us sneaking ing to the back room of what was then Snowy Range Dodge when we were done with work. We'd always talk about opening a wine bar."

The new processing plant will be able to process approximately 50 cows a week, making it the largest of its kind in the Cowboy State.
