Many people head to Pathfinder Reservoir just outside of Casper in Natrona County for the recreational opportunities, the chance to catch large fish - trout and walleye - as well as to ride ATV's and go camping in Wyoming's great outdoors.  But most of them never get the chance to see the beautiful canyon on the lake's south side, close to the world famous Miracle Mile.

Pathfinder's 2016 November water level is still pretty high compared to previous water years and with warmer temperatures this past weekend, I thought I'd do some fall sight seeing (and fishing of course) and took along a pair of GoPros to record the trip.

With no roads leading to the canyon's rim on Pathfinder reservoir, the best and only way to view the canyon is by boat.  Even with boat access, many folks don't travel this far south on the Miracle Mile arm of Pathfinder, due to the length of time it takes to travel back that far.

Having only ventured back this direction on Pathfinder Reservoir twice prior, I was reminded of the beauty and marveled at all the wildlife that can be found in the canyon.

I shot a quick video on my trip out of the canyon from 2 different views - one a forward facing camera and the other a rear facing camera.  I hope you enjoy them both!
