Do you like to play games? I'm talking about all sorts of games. From Fortnight to Catan to Dungeons and Dragons. Or how about Magic the Gathering and Warhammer 40000? If that sounds like the way you'd like to spend a Saturday, then I got some good news for ya.

The Cheyenne Gaming Convention is Saturday, April 20. It's a whole day of celebrating gaming at the Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Organizers of the event say that it's for the whole family with games for all ages. Plans are to have free learn-to-play sessions for all types of games and competitive tournaments for veteran gamers. A huge library of free to play board and video games. Plus local artists and vendors and trivia and carnival games for families with younger kids.

All proceeds are going to support local charity the Wyoming Gaming Library. Their mission is to provide no-cost gaming resources to hospitals, schools, charities, and other community organizations in Wyoming.
