Winter Storm Warning For Laramie Friday into Saturday

The National Weather Service has upgraded the Winter Storm Watch for much of southeast Wyoming to a Winter Storm Warning, Including the city of Laramie, from 11:00 PM Friday until 11:00 PM Saturday. Six to ten inches of snow is possible.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.

"A Winter storm system will move across the region beginning later today and continuing through Saturday evening. Snow will fall over the area with the heaviest snow expected across the mountains into far southeast Wyoming. Snow should be lighter north of those areas. Travel will be impacted and may become extremely difficult to impossible! The snow will end early Sunday but then it will be very cold through Monday morning." - National Weather Service
