Wyoming Rancher Uses Backhoe To Free Horse From Snow [VIDEO]

The owner of the Wagon Trail Ranch outside of Laramie is a YouTube celebrity after a video showing his dramatic rescue of a horse went viral last week.

In the clip, Jason DeBerard uses a backhoe to free the horse from a snowdrift. After the machine cleared a path, the horse was able to escape without injury. The rescue was all in a day's work for DeBerard, who also owns Dirt Tech Excavation and Trucking along with the family ranch.

The video has tallied over 17,000 views since it was posted on Friday.
