Is the U.S. Forest Service partly responsible for fire damage to national forests in Wyoming and across the western United States? Congressional Candidate Liz Cheney says that's the case.

Cheney stopped by the Laramie Live morning show to discuss a host of issues, and took some time to explain why she believes "deficient" management by the Forest Service has caused damage to national forests.

Cheney emphasizes that she supports giving increased authority to the states when it comes to managing national forests. She says "government that is closest to us is best."
