The Laramie Legion Baseball program will hold their annual Potato Supper tonight in the commons area at the new Laramie High School.

The fundraiser will start at 5 p.m. and last until 7:30 p.m. The cost is five dollars and tickets are available at the door.

Those in attendance will get a baked potato with any fixings you want to top it with. Drinks and assorted desserts are also available.

The Potato Supper also includes a silent auction to help raise funds for the program. You can bid on a variety of items such as gift baskets, tickets, gift cards/certificates and much more.

Baseball Action

The Laramie Rangers opened their 2017 last Saturday in Cheyenne against defending state champion Post 6. Laramie lost both games, 13-3 and 14-2. Both games were shortened to five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule. The Rangers will host Cheyenne Post 6 in their home opener on Sunday, April 23 from Cowboy Field. The doubleheader is scheduled at 2 p.m.

KOWB will broadcast Laramie Rangers American Legion Baseball again during the 2017 season. KOWB will air approximately 14-to-18 games in the regular season, plus every game Laramie plays in at the state tournament from Casper starting July 26. David Settle returns for his 17th season as the ‘voice of the Rangers.’ KOWB will air the home opening doubleheader starting at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
