A Cheyenne man has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of his girlfriend's 13-month-old son.

Twenty-three-year-old Logan Rogers entered the plea in Laramie County District Court this (Friday) morning as part of an agreement with the state.

In exchange for his plea, a charge of child endangering with methamphetamine was dropped.

Rogers told Judge Thomas Campbell that he had been doing meth and that Silas Ojeda died after falling off a counter at home.

Authorities have been searching for Silas' body for nearly a month, but haven't found anything.

Rogers asked to be sentenced today (Friday), but Judge Campbell denied his request and ordered a pre-sentencing investigation.

Rogers is facing up to 20 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
