UPDATE: I-80 Reopens After Closure Due to Winter Conditions
9:12 A.M. UPDATE:
Interstate 80 is now open.
A black ice advisory is in effect for the 18-mile stretch between the I-25/I-80 interchange and Wyoming 217.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Winter conditions have forced the closure of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne.
As of 4 a.m., the Wyoming Department of Transportation estimated it would take crews seven to nine hours to get the stretch back open.

A no unnecessary travel advisory is also in effect on Interstate 25 between Glendo and Glenrock.
