Stage 1 fire restrictions are currently in effect for the Bighorn National Forest and Sheridan County, where the fire is burning.

The fire, which started last week, has grown to 697 acres.

Crews are continuing to protect other Albany County communities.

Structure protection crews will begin assessing Ryan Park and the town of Centennial.

Albany County Undersheriff Josh DeBree said thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost property.

It's being reported at more than 80,000 acres in size.
