UW Volleyball, Soccer, and X-Country Compete Out of Town [VIDEO]
Road trips for volleyball, soccer, and cross country highlight the Wyoming sports schedule this weekend when it comes to UW sports besides Cowboy football.
The Cowgirl Volleyball team is in California for two Mountain West matches Thursday and Saturday. Wyoming (10-4, 2-0) faces Fresno State tonight at 8, before playing San Diego State Saturday at 7 p.m. Head coach Chad Callihan, junior Halie McArdle, and senior Cori Aafedt previewed the weekend of action.
Cowgirl soccer is back on the road, as they complete a five-match road swing in their schedule. Wyoming (6-2-2, 1-1) plays at Utah State Friday at 4 p.m. before a match at Boise State Sunday at 1 p.m.
Wyoming men’s cross country will be competing for the first time since the Aug. 31 Wyoming Invite in Cheyenne. They will race Friday in the Blue Division of the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational. The race starts at 11:45 a.m., Mountain Time.
Finally, the Wyoming Swimming and Diving team will host its annual Brown and Gold dual Friday at Corbett Pool. The diving will start at 4 p.m. followed by swimming at 5 p.m.
