The Wyoming Department of Transportation is conducting a customer satisfaction survey to get a feel for how the public thinks the agency is doing.

So, we decided to create our own poll to go along with it -- just to get a feel from folks in our audience.

The Wyoming Survey and Analysis Center at the University of Wyoming began making calls Thursday. The survey includes up to 30 questions and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

Responses will be collected from about 900 Wyoming residents.

Using some of the topics included in the current survey, we put together a poll so you can tell us what you think of WYDOT. It certainly isn't as long, and definitely doesn't take anywhere near 10 minutes to complete.

Calls about the WYDOT survey are being made on weekday evenings, Saturday afternoons and Sunday evenings. The survey is conducted every two years to measure public satisfaction with the department's performance and figure out where the department needs to improve.

The last survey, conducted in 2014, saw 80 percent overall satisfaction with WYDOT's stewardship of the state's transportation system, according to the department. About 3 percent were dissatisfied while 17 percent were neutral on the question.
