Bohl Knows Saturday is Pivotal for the Pokes [VIDEO]
A big showdown in the Mountain Division will take place Saturday at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie when the Wyoming Cowboys host No. 25 Boise State.
It’s the conference opener for both teams, and both are coming off an early bye in their schedule.
Wyoming (2-2) looked great in their win at New Mexico State but struggled in losses to Washington State and Missouri. The Pokes even struggled until late in their comeback win over Wofford Sept. 15 in Laramie.
Boise State (2-1) has dominant wins over Troy and UConn but lost to Oklahoma State on Sept. 15, 44-21 in their last action.
Cowboys’ head coach Craig Bohl met with the media in his weekly press conference Monday. In the video above, Coach Bohl starts off talking about how this is a big game, but UW has a lot of respect for the Broncos. Bohl also provided an update on injured Wyoming players before being asked about the match-up.
The game starts at 5 p.m. You can watch it on CBS Sports Network.
KOWB (AM 1290) is your gameday source for Wyoming football and will also have live coverage of Saturday's big MW showdown. It starts at 2 p.m. with our pregame show and features Cowboy Talk after the broadcast.
