The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will hold a teleconference meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4 to consider the finalists forwarded by the second presidential search committee.

It was announced yesterday that the Trustees’ meeting will be closed to the public, and the finalists’ names will be released afterward.

Candidates’ names have thus far been kept confidential while a pair of search committees worked to whittle down the number of candidates for UW president.

The names of 3-5 finalists forwarded by the second committee will be made public along with the schedule of campus visits for those finalists, tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, Dec. 7.  Those visits will include public forums as well as meetings with UW faculty, staff, and students.

The UW Board of Trustees will continue to accept public comment throughout the selection process.
