Get Out and Enjoy Wyoming’s Free Fishing Day this Saturday, June 2nd
This Saturday, grab the family and a few friends and head to the water to do some fishing! Wyoming residents and nonresidents alike are invited to go fishing for their favorite fish for free (without a fishing license) anywhere in the state on Saturday, June 2, 2018.
Free Fishing Day applies to all waters in Wyoming with the exception that fishing licenses are required in Yellowstone National Park and the Wind River Indian Reservation. All fishing regulations such as creel and size limits, gear restrictions, fishing hours, and stream closures still apply. Click Here to View Wyoming Fishing Regulations Brochure.
Take some time out of your busy schedule and relax a bit on the lake, or hit your favorite pond or stream and get the kids hooked on fishing. Or take dad out for a trip to his favorite fishing hole, trust us you'll be glad you did.
Free Fishing Day is held in conjunction with National Fishing and Boating Week and is designed to provide an opportunity for people to get reacquainted with fishing and enjoy Wyoming’s outstanding fishing opportunities.
