The University of Wyoming men’s basketball team won in dramatic fashion on Saturday, beating New Mexico 63-62.

It was senior Larry Nance Jr. who quite literally slammed it home for the Cowboys with a dunk late in overtime. Only moments before the winning slam, Nance was at the free throw line with a chance to tie up the game. He missed the first of two shots, a time-out was called, and he returned to make the second free-throw. Down by one point, Nance made the next few seconds count with a steal around mid-court giving the Cowboys a chance at victory.

The ball made its way to senior Riley Grabau who passed to a wide open Nance with only second on the clock. Nance certainly made this one count as he slammed it in for the win with only 3.2 seconds to spare in front of over 10,000 screaming fans in the Dome of Doom.
