If Josh Allen and Larry Nance, Jr. ever meet for dinner, Larry should pick up the check. The former Mayor of Dunk Town just signed the richest contract of any University of Wyoming athlete, worth $44.8 million over the next four years.

Nance, Jr. will need still another decade to pass Wyoming's highest-paid hoops pro. During his 16-year NBA career, former Pokes center Theo Ratliff made $102.3 million.

Tashuan Gipson ranks third among Wyoming athletes. The Jacksonville Jaguars safety is in the third season of a five-year, $36 million deal.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is Wyoming's highest draft pick ever, but he's not the highest-paid Poke in the NFL. Allen's four-year, $21.1 million contract makes him UW's fourth-highest paid player.

Former Wyoming wide receiver Malcom Floyd is fifth on the list of Wyoming's most lucrative professional sports contracts. In 2012, Floyd re-upped with the San Diego Chargers for $11.5 million over three years. Floyd retired in 2015 after 11 NFL seasons.

Earlier this year, veteran defensive lineman Mitch Unrein signed a free agent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers worth $10.5 million over three seasons. Unrein began his 9th NFL season on injured reserve.

Wyoming legend Jay Novacek was a five-time pro bowler, but the richest contract of his career was a three-year, $5 million dollar extension with the Dallas Cowboys in 1995. A back injury forced the 3-time Super Bowl champ to retire following the '96 season, his 11th in the league.
