Sucks to be Illinois, it’s so bad there, people are bailing like the proverbial rats from a sinking ship.
In what has become a trend, for the 3rd year running, more people are leaving Illinois than any other state. 37,508 people have already watched The Prairie State disappear in their rearview mirrors in the past year.
Gallup.com says 47% of Illinois residents said they would like to move out, mostly because of work, weather and quality of life. Here are the states that people want to leave.

Gallup asked at least 600 residents in each state "Regardless of whether you will move, if you had the opportunity, would you like to move to another state, or would you rather remain in your current state?"
37,508 Illinois people left in a recent 1 year period, While just 1,054 people from Wyoming left. Using some fuzzy math, I figure we have 36,454 more reasons to live in The Cowboy State.
Not bad considering the downturn in energy jobs here. I think it shows most of us love it here. Hard not to when you see what we have.
