On Sunday, Albany County School District #1 announced that the schools will be starting to plan for online classes should the schools be closed for the rest of the year.

Starting on Monday, March 23rd, the teachers will begin to work to set up remote communications, so they can work from home. The expectation is that most of this week will be spent getting schools prepared to do virtual learning.

Starting Wednesday, teachers will be contacting families and students either by email or phone to say hello and make contact with students.

They stated that there is no expectation that students will be doing academic work during the next two weeks, but they will have enrichment activities and ideas posted on the district website throughout the week.
