Storms with lightning, gusty winds, and potentially heavy rainfall are in the forecast for southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle over the weekend.
Portions of eastern Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle could see 60 mph wind gusts and small hail this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
It's not exactly breaking news that Wyoming had a ton of lightning thanks to storms this week. That was especially true for the area around Clark that ended up with quite the lightning show in their skies.
On Thursday evening 7/27, we experienced a late afternoon thunderstorm here in Cheyenne, but in Nebraska, the lightning was a little more severe-and caught on camera.
