Trash Day Change to Effect South Cheyenne Residents

The Cheyenne Sanitation Department is changing the trash collection day for about 100 residents in south Cheyenne.

Residents within the boundaries of West 5th Street to West 1st Street and Morrie Avenue to Warren Avenue will now have their trash and recycling picked up on Mondays instead of Tuesdays.

Sanitation Director Dennis Pino says the collection day is being changed to help improve efficiencies with the department.

Because of Presidents' Day on Monday, those residents will need to have their trash and recycling containers out on Saturday, February 13 by 6:30 a.m.
