Cheyenne Frontier Days Makes Switch to Mobile Ticketing
For the first time ever, Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) rodeo and concert goers will be able to use their smartphones and won't have to worry about losing or leaving their tickets at home.
"It's a convenience for our customers," said CFD Tickets Chairman Linda Bostron.
Bostron says folks can still use regular paper tickets, but print-at-home tickets won't be accepted.
"We actually tried the print-at-home tickets, but printers weren't the same and we couldn't get them to scan once they got to the park."
Bostron says people who've chosen mobile ticketing need to make sure everyone in their group enters an event at the same time and that their cell phones are charged and the screen brightness is turned up.
"It won't do them any good to get to the gate and have their phone be dead," said Bostron.
"Ticket sales are going great," added Bostron. "We've got good seats available for everything."
