All lanes of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne reopened around 7 p.m. Thursday. WYDOT advises drivers to expect black ice on the roadway.

The first big winter storm of the year in Southeastern Wyoming has forced the Wyoming Department of Transportation to close all lanes of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne Thursday morning.

No projected opening time was provided with the closure announcement, which was emailed shortly before 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
