Rodeo Circuit Stops in Jackson

The fall season for rodeo made a stop in Jackson over the weekend for a 2-day event. On the girl's side in the first session, Worland's Maddie Fantasky won the barrel racing in 16.308. Fantasky also won the reined cow horse event with 147.5 Lanna Jordan of Riverton placed first in the breakaway in 2.39. Tavy Leno of Sheridan won the goat tying in 7.5 with Gracie McNeel from Etna won the pole bending in 20.577.
On the boy's side in the opening session. Jaspur Brower from Big Piney and Malachi Kahl from Sheridan posted 62's to tie for first. Brodie Bates from Riverton won the bull riding with a 68 with Laramie's Kayson Dory winning the saddle bronc with a 63. In the steer wrestling, the top time was turned in by Kall Mayfield of Midwest in 6.010. Casper's Teagen Bentley had a 10.78 in the tie-down roping to place first. The team roping winners were Cade Thar with Ashlyn Goven from Rozet with a clocking of 6.55.
In the 2nd session in Jackson for the ladies, Maddie Fantasky of Worland wins the barrel racing again, this time in 16.253. She also won the reined cow horse with 146 points. Haiden Thompson of Yoder placed first in the goat tying in 6.56 and she won the breakaway roping with an incredible time of 1.87. Rayne Grant from Wheatland was the first-place finisher in the pole bending in 19.938.
On the boy's side in the 2nd Jackson rodeo, Tuker Carricato from Saratoga put a 67 on the board to take first. Kacy Jones out of Newcastle and Derek Grant of Pavillion tied for the lead in the bull-riding with 70's. The saddle bronc winner was Kayson Dory from Laramie with a 67.
Donald Quick from Craig, Colorado was the steer wrestling winner and Coy Thar of Rozet had a 9.64 to win the tie down roping. The winning team ropers in the 2nd session was Sage Romero of Rock Springs and Gatlin Pendleton of Manila, Utah in 7.86.
